  1. Grip two strands of wire with the pliers jaws |
  2. Lock off the jaws with the steel locking tab, by sliding the tab backwards |
  3. Lightly hold the tool and pull the chrome knob on the end of the tool |
  4. The spiral guide twists the wire into a neat finish |
  5. Unlock the tab, free the jaws and use the cutters to finish removing excess wire
