X-Lite X-551 Helmet

This is X-Lite’s on/off full-face helmet. Its compact volume (thanks to the availability of three outer shell sizes), VPS sunscreen (also available in yellow, designed for easier riding in low-visibility conditions), efficient TVS Touring Ventilation System, broad peak, Unitherm2 Touring Performance Comfort inner comfort padding with marked touring characteristics and N-Com X-Series communication system (ready for) make the X-551 GT a reference on/off full-face helmet for the most demanding of motorcycle tourists.

COMPOSITE FIBRE OUTER SHELL
The use of highly sophisticated materials such as Carbon, aramidic fibre and glass is sometimes not enough to guarantee special performances. This is why X-Lite has carried out constant research and experiments to create new fabrics where the single materials are combined in predetermined quantities and patterns, which ensure the best results in the construction stages of the outer shell. PINLOCK® FOG-RESISTANT INNER VISOR
Supplied and with silicone-sealed profile (FSB – Full Silicone Border).Thanks to the exclusive patented adjusting system adopted by the Nolangroup, the stretch of the Pinlock® inner visor can be adjusted, operating from the outside of the visor and making removal of the inner visor unnecessary.

VPS SUNSCREEN WITHUV 400 PROTECTION
Positioned on the inside of the helmet, it is moulded out of LEXANTM* and is S/R (Scratch Resistant) and F/R (Fog Resistant) treated, with UV protection up to 400 nanometres. It is easy to remove when it is not needed, or for normal maintenance and cleaning operations.The helmet comes equipped also with the yellow VPS sunscreen designed to enhance riding conditions in poor visibility, mist and/or fog. * LEXANTM* IS A TRADEMARK OF SABIC

SET UP FOR N-COM X-SERIES COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The helmet is set up and approved with installed N-Com X-Series communication system.
