X-Lite X-802 Ultra Carbon Helmet

COMPOSITE FIBRE OUTER SHELL

The use of highly sophisticated materials such as Carbon, aramidic fibre and glass is sometimes not enough to guarantee special performances. This is why X-lite has carried out constant research and experiments to create new fabrics where the single materials are combined in predetermined quantities and patterns, which ensure the best results in the construction stages of the outer shell. This procedure gives the best balance between shell lightness and shock resistance. X-lite has always looked for aesthetic as well as technical excellence. The recent introduction of the Ultra Carbon and Titantech versions is evidence of this research lending an air of exclusivity to numerous models of the Collection.

PINLOCK® FOG-RESISTANT INNER VISOR

Supplied and with silicone-sealed profile (FSB – Full Silicone Border).Thanks to the exclusive patented adjusting system adopted by the Nolangroup, the stretch of the Pinlock® inner visor can be adjusted, operating from the outside of the visor and making removal of the inner visor unnecessary.

DOUBLE ACTION

Device allowing the visor lock (to prevent accidental visor opening at high speeds) or visor demisting at low speeds or stops (by a minimum visor opening).

RACING AIR FLOW (RAF) VENTILATION SYSTEM

The result of experience and testing in the wind tunnel and on track, it is made up of: - indirect entry upper air intakes;- a direct entry front air intake;- a high flow rate chin guard intake with defogging function;- a front protection with integrated aerodynamic vent;- side air extractors;- a rear extractor, integrated in an aerodynamic spoiler with adjustable profile (ASD – Adjustable Stability Device).

ASD (ADJUSTABLE STABILITY DEVICE)

Integrated in the rear of the shell, the spoiler optimizes the aerodynamics of the helmet (stabilizing it at high speeds) and assists the extraction of hot air from the interior through outlet vents integrated directly in the spoiler. Its profile, and thus its aerodynamics, can be adjusted to one of the two available configurations to better suit riders’ different positions and styles
